Somontano is much more than just a place. This is true because of our values of love of the land, character, excellence, nonconformity, origin and passion for work well done, joined with a unique region in which the grapes give the very best of themselves, just as the raw materials for great wines have forged the path for this Designation of Origin. Allied with the Regulatory Council of the DO Teruel Cured Ham during the three-year period from 2018 to 2020, the European Union funded campaign “explains why they are DOs and the value of the products endorsed by this seal of quality for our designations of origin, our lands and the know-how of our people.
